2nd Grade Music

In 2nd grade, students have been studying music from around the world, and recently we have been learning about the music of Russia. Along with learning Russian folk songs and dances, students read and listened to Peter the Wolf, which introduced them to many of the different instruments you find in the orchestra. To end our Russia unit, students got a chance to act out Peter and the Wolf! Each student was a different character, which was listed on a crown that they got to decorate and wear while performing. They had a blast!
